24-48 HOURS BEFORE
Get all your beauty treatments done: mani's, pedi's, massages, hair coloring etc.
Waxing is best done 24 hours before
8-24 HOURS BEFORE
If you want to shave, do it no later than 8 to 24 hours before your appointment to give your pores time to close and your skin to heal

Scrub/exfoliate your skin well, preferably 12-24 hours before, but no later than the evening before your appointment. Properly exfoliated skin is the secret to a beautiful, even, long-lasting tan! Use an exfoliating glove and/or an oil-free scrub (both available online and in our salon)
DAY OF YOUR SPRAY TAN

Do not shave

BEFORE YOUR FIRST RINSE
Let your tan develop during the given set time (= development time, approx. 4-8 hours)
Relax!
Avoid sweating or getting wet during set time as your tan is still developing. If you want to wash your hands, use a disinfecting handgel (available online and in our salon).
FIRST RINSE
Jump in the shower after the development time (4-8 hours) and shower for a minute or two with lukewarm water only until the water runs clear

Do not use soap and do not wash your hair
Pat yourself dry with a towel (do not rub)
Do not use moisturizer, (body)lotion or perfume after this first short shower. Deodorant is allowed

Wait at least 24 hours before shaving

SECOND SHOWER
In the morning (and preferably after 24 hours) you can shower again as you are used to

However, avoid long, hot showers/baths, sauna's and swimming pools with chlorine or salt

Avoid soap, products with mineral oils and exfoliants, such as AHA's, BHA's, Retinol etc. (Tan-save body wash available online and in store)
Always pat yourself dry (do not rub)

Use a new razor when shaving

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Preferably twice a day. The better hydrated your skin is, the longer your tan will last

If you want to maintain your tan, use a tan extender from day 3 on (available online and in our salon). Use it daily to intensify your tan or every other day to maintain it
